Disney has grown from being a movie and book company investing all its money on theme parks, movies, tv channels/shows, and now into its own streaming service called DIsney Plus. Hyperlocal News is a term to describe information centered around a defined community with emphasis on population. Hyperlocal News sites often visit local areas such as suburbs, neighborhoods, small communities and are usually not covered by mainstream media. For example the sites i’ve visited showed coverage on small sports teams, interviews with neighborhood residents or a sale on a house down the street. Most hyperlocal news are always online to avoid the cost of printing paper and has much in common with citizen journalism.

I am intrigued at viewing photographs to recreate a moment of time and in Steven Wilkes picture of Coney Island Broadwalk it conveys the day and night life in one picture creating a visual masterpiece. Steven accomplished this shot by stitching together 3 seperate photos into one singular image that blends together perfectly. Stevens photos all have a meaning which coincides with the term of photos meaning 1000 words, each of Stevens photos are a work of art which conveys more than just a still shot.

Why havent we all switch to electric cars yet?

With all the talk about climate change and pollution prevention laws everyone is in the search to find ways to save this planet such as compainies like apple using 100% recycled alluminum in their iphones, starbucks switching to 100% recycled paper, even food waste from Ikea turning into compost , but what about for consumers switching from gas guzziling cars to clean electric EV vehicles? Electric cars have been heavily discounted since the past few years such as manufacturers like Tesla inventing the Model 3 which is a low cost fully EV vehicle and many more competitors continulously switching to EV’s. But why aren’t we seeing more Ev’s on the roads today? the answer is that even though they may be more affordable, gas cars are still cheaper than any electric car in the market today since consumers are getting a better value. In the next few years by 2025 there will be more EV’s on the road than Gas cars today.

Music has evolved throughout the years moving away from traditions into new innovative music such as relating to everyone’s personal lives. My two favorite artist that changed the music industry for rap and hip hop are JuiceWrld and Post Malone. Both artist provides a unique twist in modern music that stands them out among many musicians in today’s generation by introducing a melodic pattern in beats with relative vocals that creates a distinctive personality to each song. Both artists have a mass following which influence many millennial’s across the United States. JuiceWrld and Post Malone manufactures complete thoughtful music that expresses a persons feelings and personality.

Renzo Alvarez is an inspiring, ambitious student at Hillsborough Community College who is advancing towards his Business degree as well as working full time at his uncle’s convenience store shaping himself to eventually open up his own store in the future. I selected to interview Renzo Alvarez because of his inspiring story full of hardships and sleepless nights studying for school and working constantly at his understaffed job, a typical nightmare for any student to have. Renzo shares how he overcomes his struggles and explains his elaborate plan to succeed in his ventures that I believe to inspire any students that feels overwhelmed and stressed in school. I admire Renzo’s passion and his drive to accomplish what many people might see as impossible. Even though the interview went smoothly a challenge that I had faced was asking thoroughly comprehensive questions and not receiving an adequate answer back. The challenge interviewing a person you don’t know is making the interviewee being comfortable being asked questions. So, I began relating to Renzo story on my past difficulties I had overcome with both school and work, he eventually started to explain how he balances both obligations and his dream of the future that had me inspired to share this story with others.

In 2016 a study found out that only 69.7 students in 2016 went to college after graduation high school. Robert Downy Jr’s is an motivational person that inspires others to pursue their dreams. looking back at Roberts life from a struggling actor to a millionaire blockbuster performer inspires me to interview him to learn more of his interesting life. Roberts early life had many hardships coming into the acting scene he went through many frequent failed attempts coming onto the big screen, until one day he got to play the role he was meant for in 2008’s Iron Man. Iron man was a highly acclaimed success that later made two sequels and introduced the Marvel’s cinematic universe to audiences world wide. For an interview I would like to find out how Robert got the role as Iron Man, How did achiving this role changed his life forever, and how his life would of been different if he didnt had the chance to aquire that role. Overall Robert Downy Jr will always be my inspiration to never give up, Robert once said “I think that the power is the principle. The principle of moving forward, as though you have the confidence to move forward, eventually gives you confidence when you look back and see what you’ve done.” Robert Downey Jr.
